THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

Paracetamol : Antalgic / Antipyretic

INDICATIONS

It is indicated for pain and/or fever, such as headaches, flu-like symptoms, dental pain, muscle aches, painful menstruation, and may also be prescribed by your doctor for osteoarthritis pain.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Known allergy to paracetamol
Severe liver disease
Children under 15 years old

WARNING AND PRECAUTION

If the pain persists for more than 5 days or the fever for more than 3 days, or if there is insufficient effectiveness or the onset of any other symptoms, do not continue the treatment without consulting your doctor.
In cases of severe liver or kidney disease, you should consult your doctor before taking paracetamol.
Pregnancy and breastfeeding: Paracetamol, under normal conditions of use, can be used during pregnancy and while breastfeeding.

SIDE EFFECTS

A few rare cases of allergic reactions manifest as simple skin rashes with erythema or urticarial; treatment should be stopped immediately.
A few rare cases of thrombocytopenia have been reported in the international literature

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Oral administration

Adults and adolescents over 15 years:
– Take 500 mg to 1000 mg, to be repeated after 6 hours.
– Do not exceed 3000 milligrams of paracetamol per day.
