 COMPOSITION :

Each tablet contains :

– Paracetamol…………………………………………………..: 500 mg

– Phenylephrine HCl…………………………………………….: 10 mg

– Chlorpheniramine maleate………………………………………: 2 mg

Excipient : qs……………….…………………………………one tablet

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES:

– Paracetamol : analgesic, antipyretic

– Chlorpheniramine: Antihistamine; Acts on central and/or peripheral H1 receptors, with sedative and anticholinergic (atropinic) effects.

-Phenylephrine : A sympathomimetic systemic nasal decongestant.

INDICATIONS:

Treatment of nasal congestion and excessive nasal discharge during rhinitis associated with headaches and/or fever.

CONTREAINDICATIONS:

– Do not administer in cases of severe liver dysfunction or a history of allergic reactions to paracetamol.

– Not recommended for children under 15 years of age.

– Avoid use in pregnant or breastfeeding women.

WARNING AND PRECAUTION:

– Attention is advised, particularly for drivers and machine operators

– The consumption of alcoholic beverages during treatment is not recommended

– Due to the presence of phenylephrine : use with caution in individuals with hypertension, coronary artery disease, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, and those with mental health disorders.

SIDE EFFECTS:

-Paracetamol : The rare allergic reactions to paracetamol, manifested by simple skin rashes with erythema or urticaria, require merely discontinuing the treatment. In rare cases, thrombocytopenia may occur

– Chlorpheniramine :

– Daytime drowsiness (refer to precautions).

– Anticholinergic effects may include increased viscosity of bronchial secretions, dry mouth, difficulty with accommodation, constipation, urinary retention, mental confusion, or agitation, especially in the elderly.

-Gastrointestinal effects: primarily digestive intolerance.

-Phenylephrine : Headache, dizziness, nervousness, insomnia, dry mouth, increased blood pressure, and palpitations.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:

Oral route

Intended for adults and children over 15 years of age

– Take 4 tablets per day, divided into 4 separate doses

STORAGE:

• Store at a temperature below 30°C, protected from light and humidity.
• Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
• Do not use after the expiration date.
