NANPICINE-250
COMPOSITION
Each capsule contains:
– Ampicillin trihydrate quivalent to Ampicillin : ………………..250 mg / 500 mg
Excipients : q.s. …………………………………………………………………….one capsule
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
An antibiotic from the beta-lactam family, belonging to the penicillin group, type A
(aminopenicillin).
INDICATIONS
They are limited to the following types of infections:
– Respiratory infections.
– ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat) and stomatological infections.
– Renal and urogenital infections.
– Gynecological infections.
– Digestive and biliary infections.
– Meningeal infections.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
– Allergy to Penicillins .
IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEEK THE ADVICE OF DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.
WARNING AND PRECAUTION
– Consider the risk of cross-allergy with antibiotics from the cephalosporin family.
– In association with allopurinol (increased risk of skin reactions).
– In cases of renal insufficiency, adjust the dosage based on creatinine clearance or
creatinine levels.
SIDE EFFECTS
As with all penicillins:
– Allergic reactions, including urticaria, eosinophilia, angioedema, respiratory discomfort,
and, rarely, anaphylactic shock.
– Maculopapular skin rashes, of either allergic or non-allergic origin.
– Digestive disorders: nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, and candidiasis.
DOSAGE
Oral administration.
Swallow the capsules with a little water, 30 minutes before meals.
Adults: 2 g daily, in 2 doses.
Children: 50 mg per kg daily, in 2 doses.
CONSERVATION
– Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
– Keep out of reach of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date on the box
