– Tetracycline HCl ………………………………..: 250 mg

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
- Tetracycline: A broad-spectrum antibiotic.
- Nystatin: A non-systemic antifungal.
INDICATIONS
Indications are limited to manifestations of:
- Systemic conditions,
- Respiratory conditions,
- Genitourinary conditions.
- Special indication: Acne.
- In certain indications (gonococcal infections, syphilis), tetracyclines are only indicated in cases of allergy to β-lactams.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- This product should be avoided in cases of renal insufficiency.
- History of allergy to antibiotics in the tetracycline family.
- Pregnancy: As a precaution, avoid prescribing during pregnancy, it is contraindicated due to the risk of staining of deciduous teeth.
- Breastfeeding: Should be avoided.

PRECAUTION:
- Overdose may lead to a risk of hepatotoxicity.
- Due to the risk of photosensitivity, it is advisable to avoid direct sun exposure and UV radiation during treatment, and the treatment should be interrupted if skin reactions, such as erythema, occur.
SIDE EFFECT
- Dental dyschromia or enamel hypoplasia with prolonged administration in children under 8 years old.
- Digestive disturbances (diarrhea, nausea, epigastric pain).
- Allergic reactions (urticaria, rash, pruritus).
- Photosensitivity reactions.
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
- Adults: The usual dosage is 1.5 g to 2 g of tetracycline, equivalent to 6 to 8 capsules per day, taken in 3 divided doses, away from meals.
- Children over 8 years: 25 to 50 mg/kg/day in 3 divided doses, before or after meals
CONSERVATION :
- Store in a cool, dry place, away from light and moisture.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Do not use after the expiration date on the package.
