THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
Antibacterial antibiotic from the macrolide family (J: anti-infective).
INDICATIONS:
These are limited to the following infections:
-Tonsillitis
-Acute sinusitis
-Secondary infections of acute bronchitis
-Pneumonias
-Mild skin infections: acne
-Non-gonococcal genital infections
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
This medication should not be used in the following cases:
-Allergy to macrolides
-The combination with bromocriptine or cabergoline is contraindicated IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST. WARNING AND PRECAUTION:
-In cases of liver insufficiency, the administration of Roxithromycin is not recommended. -The renal elimination of the active substance is low.
SIDE EFFECTS:
-Digestive symptoms: nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, diarrhea (very rarely with blood). -Dizziness, headaches.
DOSAGE:
Roxithromycin should preferably be taken before meals. Adults: The usual dosage is 300 mg per day, which is 1 tablet of 150 mg in the morning and 1 tablet in the evening.
CONSERVATION:
-Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity. -Keep out of reach and sight of children.
-Do not use after the expiration date on the package.
