COMPOSITION

Each capsule contain :

– Indomethacin : 50 mg

– Vitamin B₁ HCl : 50 mg

– Vitamin B₆ : 25 mg

– Vitamin B₁₂ : 0.1 mg

– Magnesium Trisilicate : 100 mg

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :

Analgesic activity, anti-inflammatory activity, antipyretic activity, platelet function inhibition.
Involved in numerous enzymatic reactions.

INDICATIONS:

Symptomatic treatment of acute flare-ups of:
- Non-articular rheumatism (acute painful shoulders, tendinitis, etc.)
- Microcrystalline arthritis
- Osteoarthritis
- Severe lumbalgia, radiculalgia
- Traumatology
- Symptomatic treatment of certain febrile conditions
- Prophylaxis and treatment of vitamin B deficiency states

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Gastrointestinal bleeding
Severe hepatocellular insufficiency
Severe renal insufficiency
Recent history of proctitis or rectal bleeding (related to the suppository form)
Children under 15 years of age
Pregnant women (from the 6th month onward): see Pregnancy and Breastfeeding
History of allergy to cobalamins

WARNING AND PRECAUTION:
Indomethacin should be administered with caution and under close supervision in patients with a history of digestive issues (gastritis, hiatal hernia, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.).
In case of blood clotting disorders, use indomethacin with caution, with close biological monitoring.
Use with caution in cases of psychiatric disorders, epilepsy, and Parkinson’s disease.

SIDE EFFECTS:
Gastrointestinal:

Gastrointestinal disturbances such as epigastric pain (usually mild to moderate), nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation.
Gastrointestinal bleeding and/or perforation. These digestive hemorrhages are more frequent with higher dosages.

Dermatological:

Skin rash, urticaria, pruritus, dermatitis.

Respiratory:

Asthma, acute respiratory distress, pulmonary edema.

General:

Angioedema, anaphylactic shock.

Central Nervous System:

Most often: headaches, dizziness, fatigue.

DOSAGE:
It is recommended to take Rhurapid capsules with food to improve digestive tolerance.

2 to 3 capsules per day, to be swallowed whole, either at the beginning or in the middle of meals.
The duration of treatment depends on the condition being treated, ranging from a few days to several weeks.
Dose reduction should be considered for elderly patients and those with renal insufficiency.
