THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES

Antiseptic (Dermatology use)
This is a bacteriostatic, non-bactericidal antiseptic, primarily active against Gram-positive bacteria and ineffective against Pseudomonas.

INDICATIONS

Adjunctive treatment of primary bacterial skin infections or conditions at risk of secondary bacterial infection.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Use on mucous membranes, particularly genital areas (risk of balanitis and erosive vaginitis)
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
Children with a history of febrile or non-febrile seizures (due to the presence of terpene derivatives among the excipients)

PRECAUTIONS

Follow the recommended dosage and instructions for use carefully
Do not apply to large areas of the body
Do not apply to the breasts during breastfeeding
After application, wash hands thoroughly to avoid unintentional contact with the eyes

SIDE EFFECTS

Possible local allergic reactions
Application to the rectal mucosa may cause muscle atony, similar to that seen with curare-like agents
Risk of convulsions in infants and young children

-Possibility of agitation and confusion in elderly patients
