COMPOSITIONS
Each tablet contain:
Aciclovir (INN ) …………………………………………….400 mg

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
Direct-acting antivirals
INDICATIONS
– Prevention of infections caused by Herpes simplex virus (HSV), recurrences of ocular HSV
infections (keratitis), and eye surgery.
– Treatment of hepatic, cutaneous, or mucosal infections, and genital herpes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
History of hypersensitivity to acyclovir or any of the other components of the medication.
IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEEK
THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.
WARNING AND PRECAUTION
– Adequate fluid intake must be maintained.
– Patients with renal insufficiency and the elderly.
– Children under 6 years old due to the risk of choking.
– Pregnant women, especially in the later stages of pregnancy.
– If the mother is being treated systemically, breastfeeding should be avoided
SIDE EFFECTS
The following symptoms have occasionally been reported:
– Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea,
– Headaches, dizziness,
– Skin rashes, hives, itching,
– Thrombocytopenia, leukopenia.
DOSAGE
Oral route:
– Treatment of cutaneous herpetic infections and recurrent genital herpes: 2 to 3 tablets per day,
taken at regular intervals, for 5 to 10 days.
– Treatment of ocular HSV infections: 5 tablets per day in 5 doses.
– Prevention of recurrent ocular HSV infections: 2 tablets per day in 2 doses. Treatment will be
reassessed at intervals of 6 to 12 months.
CONSERVATION
– Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
– Keep out of the reach of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date on the box.
