COMPOSITION :

Each Sachet contains :

– Cefixime……………………………………………………………………………….: 100 mg

– Excipients : q.s………………………………………………………………………: Sachet

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :

• It’s 3^rd generation of Cephalosporin.

 INDICATIONS :

• Otitis media, acute bronchitis,
• acute exacerbations of chronic
• bronchitis, pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and
• uncomplicated urinary tract infections

CONTRAINDICATION:

• History of anaphylactic reaction to penicillins, hypersensitivity to​
• Children under 6months of age

PRECAUTION AND WARNING :

• Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: kidney disease, a certain intestinal disease (colitis).

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Stomachupset/pain, diarrhea, nausea, gas, headache, or dizziness may occur.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

This medication is reserved for children up to 6 months of age

• 4mg /kg / in every 12 hours (8mg / kg / day in divided 2 doses ).
• Maximum: 400 mg/day.
