COMPOSITION

Each chewable tablet contains:

• Dried Aluminium Hydroxide gel……………………………………: 160 mg
• Magnesium Trisilicate………………………………………………….: 250 mg
• Excipients : q.s …………………………………………: One chewable tablet

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES:

• Gastric dressing and antacid.
• It protects the mucosa, thus facilitating the healing of lesions.
• As an antacid, it adsorbs H+ ions

INDICATIONS:

• Symptomatic treatment of disorders related to pathological acidity in gastroduodenal ulcers, reflux, heartburn, hiatal hernias, esophagitis, acute or chronic gastritis, and dyspepsia.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Severe kidney failure.

WARNING AND PRECAUTION :

• Due to the presence of aluminum, precautions should be taken for chronic dialysis patients because of the risk of encephalopathy.

SIDE EFFECTS :

• Possibility of accelerated transit due to lactose intolerance.
• Related to aluminum: phosphate depletion with prolonged use and high doses. This depletion manifests as asthenia, anorexia, and osteomalacia.

DOSAGE :

Oral route

• 1 to 2 chewable tablets, 3 to 5 times a day, to be taken outside of meal times and chewed. In case of painful episodes, the dose may be increased if necessary.

CONSERVATION:

• Store below 30^oC, avoid light and humidity
• Keep out of reach and sight of children.
• Do not use after expiry date.
