THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
Cetirizine has a potent, long-lasting, and highly selective antagonistic effect on H1 receptors and inhibits the tissue migration of eosinophilic inflammatory cells in certain types of urticarial.
INDICATIONS
Symptomatic treatment of allergic manifestations:
Respiratory:
- Non-seasonal allergic rhinitis, non-seasonal spasmodic coryza
- Seasonal rhinitis and various pollinoses, including hay fever
Dermatological:
- Allergic pruritic skin conditions
- Chronic urticaria
Ocular:
- Allergic conjunctivitis
- Rhinitis-conjunctivitis with ocular pruritus; Quincke’s edema (excluding shock treatment).
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Hypersensitivity to this medication
- Renal insufficiency
Pregnancy:
- The use of this product is not recommended during pregnancy.
Breastfeeding:
- As cetirizine passes into breast milk in trace amounts, the use of this product during breastfeeding is not recommended.

SIDE EFFECTS
Adverse effects such as minor digestive disturbances, dry mouth, dizziness, and drowsiness are rare, and their frequency is similar to that observed with a placebo
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
For adults and children over 12 years old, the recommended daily dosage is usually 10 mg as a single dose.
CONSERVATION :
- Store below 30oC, avoid light and humidity.
- Keep out of reach and sight of children.
- Do not use after expiry date.
