COMPOSITION:

Each 5 ml contains:

– Paracetamol …………………………………………………… : 250 mg

– Caffeine anhydrous………………………………………….. : 15 mg

– Chlorpheniramine maleate……………………………….. : 1 mg

– Excipients: q.s………………………………………………………..5 ml

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES:

– Paracetamol: Antalgic / Antipyretic.

– Caffeine anhydrous: stimulant central

– Chlorpheniramine maleate: Antihistaminic for the action on central H1 receptor and / or peripheral,

sedative effect and atropine.

INDICATIONS:

For the relief of symptoms associated with nasal congestion due to the common cold, allergic, rhinitis, sinusitis, hay fever, headache, influenza catarrh and other related upper respiratory conditions.

CONTRAINDICATION:

Hypersensitivity to paracetamol or other components.
Hepatocellular insufficiency.
Angle-closure glaucoma.
Children under 6 years of age.

SIDE EFFECTS:

A few rare cases of hypersensitivity reactions, such as anaphylactic shock, Quincke’s edema, erythema, urticaria, and skin rash, have been reported. The occurrence of these reactions requires the permanent discontinuation of this medication and related medications.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Oral route:

For 21 to 25 kg (approximately 6 to 10 years): ½ teaspoon per dose, repeat if necessary after 4 hours, not exceeding 3 teaspoons per day.
For 26 to 40 kg (approximately 8 to 13 years): 1 teaspoon per dose, repeat if necessary after 6 hours, not exceeding 4 teaspoons per day.
For 41 to 50 kg (approximately 12 to 15 years): 1 teaspoon per dose, repeat if necessary after 4 hours, not exceeding 6 teaspoons per day.
