COMPOSITIONS
- Hydrocortisone butyrate ………………………………0.01 g (1% w/w)

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES:
- Potent topical corticosteroid
- Acts on certain inflammatory processes and the associated pruritus
- Vasoconstrictor (anti-exudative effect)
- Inhibits cell proliferation and synthesis processes in the dermis and epidermis
INDICATIONS :
- Facial seborrheic dermatitis
- Certain localized eczemas: face, eyelids (see precautions)
- Maintenance treatment of dermatoses initially treated with stronger corticosteroids
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
- Primary bacterial, viral, fungal, or parasitic infections, even when inflammatory
- Ulcerated lesions
- Acne and rosacea
- Known hypersensitivity to any component of the formulation

PRECAUTIONS FOR USE:
Treatment over large surface areas or under occlusion may lead to systemic corticosteroid effects, especially in infants and young children
- If local intolerance occurs, treatment should be discontinued, and the cause investigated
SIDE EFFECTS :
- On the face, corticosteroids may cause perioral dermatitis or induce/exacerbate rosacea (see contraindications)
- May delay healing of atonic wounds, pressure sores, and leg ulcers (see contraindications)
- Reported effects include acneiform eruptions, hypertrichosis, and depigmentation
DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
- Application should be limited to twice daily
- For optimal use, it is recommended to:
Apply the product in small, spaced dabs
• Spread gently using a plastic glove
• Massage until fully absorbed
STORAGE :
- Store away from light and moisture
- Keep out of the reach and sight of children
- Do not use after the expiry date indicated on the label
