NANDIAZINE

COMPOSITIONS :
Each tablet contains:
Sulfadiazine ….. …………………………………………………………500 mg
Excipients: q.s. ………………………………………………………..One tablet
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
An antibiotic from the sulfonamide family.
INDICATIONS:
– Meningococci, based on the antibiogram data.
– Pneumococci, toxoplasmosis, and prophylaxis of recurrent rheumatic fever (R.A.F.).
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
– Renal insufficiency, hepatic insufficiency, and allergy to sulfonamides.
– Newborns and premature infants.
– Pregnancy near term (interference with bilirubin metabolism)

WARNING AND PRECAUTION
– Skin or hematological reactions require the immediate and definitive cessation of treatment.
– Risk of photosensitivity
SIDE EFFECTS:
Possible allergic reactions, either general or cutaneous, and digestive intolerances.
The risk of urinary precipitation is prevented by maintaining adequate diuresis.
DOSAGE:
Oral route:
Divide the doses into 4 to 6 administrations.
– Adults: 8 to 12 tablets per day.
– Children: 0.15 g per kg of body weight per 24 hours.
CONSERVATION
Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
Keep out of reach and sight of children.
Do not use after the expiration date shown on the box
