COMPOSITION
Each capsule contains :

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID):
-Analgesic / antipyretic / anti-inflammatory activity
-Inhibition of platelet functions
INDICATIONS
They are limited to adults and children over 15 years old.
They are indicated for the following conditions:
-Chronic inflammatory rheumatism
-Certain painful and disabling osteoarthritis
-Microcrystalline arthritis
CONTRAINDICATIONS
This medication should not be used in the following cases:
-A history of allergy or asthma triggered by the use of piroxicam or substances with similar
activity, such as other NSAIDs or aspirin.
-Active gastroduodenal ulcer
-Severe hepatic insufficiency
-Severe renal insufficiency
-Children under 15 years old
-Pregnant or breastfeeding women

WARNING AND PRECAUTION :
– In case of gastrointestinal bleeding, discontinue the treatment immedieately
– Piroxicam should be administered with caution and under close supervision in patients with a
history of digestive disorders (gastroduodenal ulcer, hiatal hernia, gastrointestinal bleeding, etc.).
– At the beginning of treatment, careful monitoring of urine output and renal function is necessary
in patients with chronic heart, liver, and kidney insufficiency.
SIDE EFFECTS
-Gastrointestinal effects: nausea, vomiting, constipation, abdominal pain, flatulence, diarrhea,
ulcers, perforations, gastrointestinal bleeding (either occult or visible).
-Effects on the central nervous system: headaches, drowsiness, and dizziness.
DOSAGE
Oral route
– Chronic inflammatory rheumatism and osteoarthritis: 20 mg per day in a single dose.
– Microcrystalline arthritis: 40 mg per day, preferably in a single dose, for an average of 4 to 6 days.
– Rheumatism with radiculalgia: 40 mg per day in one or more doses for the first 2 days,
then 20 mg per day for the following days.
CONSERVATION
– Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity.
– Keep out of reach and sight of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date on the package.
