THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
Expectorant, mucolytic, antitussive.
INDICATIONS :
Used in the symptomatic treatment of troublesome, non-productive coughs.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
– Asthmatic cough
– Respiratory insufficiency, regardless of severity
– Children under 15 years old
IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEEK
THE ADVICE OF YOUR DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST
WARNING AND PRECAUTION :
– If the cough persists despite the use of a standard dose of an antitussive, do not increase
the dosage. Instead, examine the clinical situation.
– Caution is advised, especially for vehicle drivers and machine operators.
– Consumption of alcoholic beverages during treatment should be avoided.
– As a precaution, it is preferable not to use NAN CODEINE during the first trimester of pregnancy.
– As a precaution, it is advised to avoid use during breastfeeding.
SIDE EFFECTS
Possible constipation, drowsiness, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, and bronchospasm.
DOSAGE
Oral route:
– The symptomatic treatment should be short (a few days).
– It is reserved for adults and children over 15 years old. Take 1 tablet per dose, 3 times a day.
CONSERVATION
– Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and moisture.
– Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date shown on the box.
