COMPOSITIONS :

Each tablet contains :

• Thiamine HCl ……………………………………………10 mg

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :

• Vitamin B1 plays a role in the transmission of nerve impulses by inhibiting the formation of cholinesterase, which inactivates acetylcholine.

INDICATIONS :

• Treatment of vitamin B1 deficiency: Beriberi.
• Mild deficiencies lead to a decrease in work capacity.
• Other indications: Pain associated with rheumatology and neurology conditions, pregnancy-related neuritis.

CONTRAINDICATIONS :

• History of hypersensitivity to thiamine or any of the components.

WARNING AND PRECAUTION :

• Do not use this medication in combination with other products containing vitamin B1.
• Only use the injectable form when necessary.

SIDE EFFECTS :

• Immune system reactions: Anaphylactic shock, pruritus, urticaria, tachycardia etc.
• Increased urine output.
• Possible digestive intolerance: diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, and abdominal pain.

DOSAGE

• Oral route.
• Adults: The usual dose is 0.05 gm to 0.25 gm per dose, with a total of 0.10 gm to 0.50 gm per 24 hours.
• Children (0 to 30 months): 2 to 5 mg.
• In the case of mild deficiency, the recommended dosage is 50 to 100 mg per day, taken orally.

CONSERVATION :

• Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Do not use after the expiration date on the box.
