COMPOSITION
Each chewable tablet contains:
– Ascorbic acid (vitamin C)…………………………………………………..25 mg
– Excipients : q.s……………………………………………..One chewable tablet
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES
Vitamin C is involved in various cellular redox reactions.
INDICATION
This medication is indicated for:
- The treatment of vitamin C deficiency (scurvy).
- Adjunctive treatment of functional asthenia.
- Infantile anemia, dental dystrophies, and dental caries.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
- Oxalocalcic kidney stones with doses exceeding 1g/day.
IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEEK
THE ADVICE OF DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.
WARNING AND PRECAUTION :
- Do not combine with alkalis, iron salts, copper salts, mercury salts, Sulfatides that are soluble in hexamine, peroxides, iodine, folic acid, or vitamins B12 and K.
SIDE EFFECTS
At high doses exceeding 1g/day, the following may occur:
- Digestive disturbances (gastric burning, diarrhea),
- Urinary disturbances (oxalate, cystine, and uric acid stones).
DOSAGE
Oral route: The product is for children only.
- 0 to 30 months: 0.10 g to 0.30 g per 24 hours, i.e., 4 to 12 lozenges per day.
- 30 months to 15 years: 0.30 g to 1 g per 24 hours, i.e., 12 to 40 lozenges per day.
CONSERVATION :
Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity.
Keep out of the reach of children.
Do not use after the expiration date on the box.
