PROPERTIES THERAPEUTIC :
Carbocisteine is a mucolytic agent
INDICATIONS

Cough that produces mucus (phlegm),
Increased of bronchial secretions during acute bronchitis and bronchopulmonary disease.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

hypersensitivity to one of the constituents

PRECAUTION AND WARNING :

Patient with history of gastroduodenal ulcers, chronic bronchial asthma, respiratory failure.
Pregnancy and lactation.
Not recommendation for alcohol drinks while treatment by this medicine.

SIDE EFFECTS
Possibility :

Gastrointestinal disorders: Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, epigastric discomfort.
pruritus, erythematous rash, urticaria and angioedema.

DOSAGE
Reserve for oral route :
STETOUX Children (Carbocisteine 2%)
– Children under 2 years old : Take 2.5 mL, 2 times per 24 hours.
– Children from 2 – 5 years old : Take 5 mL, 2 times per 24 hours.
– Children upper 5 years old : Take 5 mL, 3 times per 24 hours.
