COMPOSITION:

Each tablet contains:

– Paracetamol ……………………………………………………   : 500 mg

– Phenylephrine HCl……………………………………: 10 mg

– Caffeine anhydrous…………………………………………….: 20 mg

– Chlorpheniramine maleate……………………………………..: 2mg

– Excipients: q.s…………………………………………….    One tablet

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES:

– Paracetamol: Antalgic and antipyretic.

– Penylephrine HCl : Sympathomimetic and nasal decongestant

– Caffeine anhydrous: stimulant central

– Chlorpheniramine maleate: Antihistaminic for the action on central H1 receptor and / or peripheral, sedative effect and atropine.

INDICATIONS:

For the relief of symptoms associated with nasal congestion due to the common cold, allergic, rhinitis, sinusitis, hay fever, headache, influenza catarrh and other related upper respiratory conditions.

CONTRAINDICATION:

– Do not take this medicine in case hepatocellular insufficiency or allergy by Paracetamol

– Children under 15 years old.

– Breast feeding.

PRECAUTION AND WARNING:

  • It should not be used for more than 5 consecutive days, as it may cause liver or kidney dysfunction.
  • Use with caution in patients with low respiratory function, hyperthyroidism, increased intraocular

pressure, diabetes, hepatic or renal impairment, and alcohol dependence, unless directed by a doctor.

  • This medicine may cause drowsiness. While taking this medication, avoid driving motor vehicle or

operating machinery.

  • Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine.

SIDE EFFECTS:

– Paracetamol:

  • Allergy reaction by Paracetamol will show likely a simple skin rash with erythema or urticarial, don’t using if have this condition.
  • Thrombocytopenia

Caffeine: Possible excitation, non-drowsiness and palpitation.

Chlorpheniramine maleate:

  • Viscosity increases of bronchial secretion, dry mouth, vision disorder and constipation.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Oral route:

  • Adult: 1 tablet, 3 to 4 times daily.
  • Children 12 years old of age and older: ½ tablet, 3 to 4 times daily.

CONSERVATION:

  • Store below 30oC, avoid light and humidity
  • Keep out of reach and sight of children.
  • Do not use after expiry date.
