NANPRAZOLE-20
COMPOSITION :
Each capsule contain:
Omeprazole……………………………………………………………………20 mg
Excipients q.s. ………………………………………………………….One capsule
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
Specific inhibitor of the H+, K+ ATPase proton pump in the gastric parietal cell.
INDICATIONS :
– Stomach ulcer (duodenal or gastric)
– Esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux (heartburn and acid reflux)
– Zollinger-Ellison syndrome
– Prevention and treatment of gastro-duodenal lesions
induced by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs
(NSAIDs)
– In children from 1 year old: treatment of reflux esophagitis
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
– Pregnancy and breastfeeding
– Ketoconazole, itraconazole

THE ADVICE OF DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.
WARNING AND PRECAUTION :
Use this medication with caution in cases of chronic liver disease
SIDE EFFECTS:
– Cases of diarrhea, constipation, abdominal pain,
nausea and/or vomiting, headaches and dizziness,
skin rashes, or hives.
– Rare cases of reversible mental confusion, which may
be associated with agitation or hallucinations, have
been observed, particularly in elderly patients or
those with hepatic insufficiency
DOSAGE:
Oral route. Reserved for adults and children
over 20 kg in weight.
Adults:
– Gastro-duodenal ulcer: 2 capsules per day (morning and evening) for 7 days.
– Esophagitis: 1 capsule per day for 4 to 6 weeks.
– Gastroesophageal reflux: 1 capsule per day.
– Zollinger-Ellison syndrome: initial dose of 3 capsules once a day.
– Gastro-duodenal lesions induced by NSAIDs: 1 capsule per day for 4 to 8 weeks.
Children:
– Children over 2 years old (weighing more than 20 kg): 1 capsule per day.
– Children over 1 year old (weighing 10 kg – 20 kg): 10 mg per day (the dose can
be increased to 20 mg once a day if necessary).
CONSERVATION :
– Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity.
– Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date on the box
