INDICATIONS
Treatment of short-term painful episodes in adults with moderate to severe intensity, or those not responding to a non-opioid analgesic alone.
CONTRAINDICATIONS

  • Children under 15 years old.
    • Hypersensitivity to ibuprofen or any of the product’s excipients.
    • History of asthma and gastrointestinal bleeding or perforation during previous NSAID treatment.
    • Gastrointestinal bleeding, cerebrovascular bleeding, or any active bleeding.
    • Severe liver insufficiency, severe renal insufficiency, severe heart failure, respiratory failure.
    • Pregnancy and breastfeeding.

WARNING AND PRECAUTION

  • If bleeding or ulceration occurs in a patient receiving Nantavic, treatment should be stopped.
    • Nantavic should be discontinued at the first sign of a skin rash, mucosal lesions, or any other sign of hypersensitivity.
    • This medication should be avoided if the patient is being treated with another non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID), an oral anticoagulant, lithium, or acetylsalicylic acid in analgesic or antipyretic doses.
    • Prolonged use of high doses of codeine may lead to dependence.
    • Alcohol consumption during treatment is not recommended.
    • In the case of a productive cough, codeine may impair the ability to expectorate.

SIDE EFFECTS

  • Peptic ulcers, perforations, or gastrointestinal bleeding, particularly in the elderly.
    • Nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, flatulence, constipation, dyspepsia, ulcerative stomatitis, abdominal pain.
    • Edema, hypertension, and heart failure have been reported in association with NSAID treatment.
    • Dermatological: eruptions, rash, pruritus, urticaria, worsening of chronic urticaria.
    • Systemic: anaphylactic shock, Quincke’s edema.
    • Dizziness and headache.
    • Sedation.
    • Bronchospasm, respiratory depression (see Contraindications section).

DOSAGE
For adults over 15 years old:

  • Take 1 capsule for the first dose, then 1 capsule every 6 to 8 hours, not exceeding 3 capsules per day.
    Swallow with a large glass of water, preferably during a meal.

CONSERVATION
 Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity.
 Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
 Do not use after the expiration date on the box.
