COMPOSITION
Each tablet contains:
– Pyridoxine HCl ………………………………………………………….: 10 mg
– Excipients q.s. …………………………………………………………One tablet
THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
-Vitamin B6, which plays an important role in protein metabolism
and the synthesis of fatty acids from fats.
INDICATIONS
– Treatment of confirmed vitamin B6 deficiency.
– Pyridoxine HCl is used in the treatment of agranulocytosis,
neuromuscular disorders, seborrheic dermatitis, nausea and
vomiting during pregnancy, or vomiting induced by radiotherapy.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
– Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
– Levodopa.

WARNING AND PRECAUTION
This medication should not be used for prolonged periods.
SIDE EFFECTS
Exceptional and reversible neurological manifestations
have been reported after high doses and/or prolonged
courses of vitamin treatment, resolving upon discontinuation
of the treatment.
DOSAGE
Oral route.
Adults: 0.25 gm per dose; 0.25 gm to 0.50 gm, up to 1 gm
per 24 hours.
Children:
-From 0 to 30 months: 0.05 gm to 0.10 gm
-From 30 months to 15 years: 0.10 gm to 0.50 gm
CONSERVATION
– Store at a temperature below 30°C, away from light and humidity.
– Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date on the box.
