COMPOSITION:

THERAPEUTIC PROPERTIES :
– Loop diuretic
INDICATIONS :
This medication is indicated for:
-Cardiac or renal origin edema.
-Hepatic origin edema.
-Hypertension.
CONTRAINDICATIONS :
This medication should not be used in the following
cases:
-Hepatic encephalopathy.
-Allergy to sulfonamides.
-Obstruction of the urinary tract and oliguria.
-Hypovolemia or dehydration.
-Pregnancy or breastfeeding
IN CASE OF DOUBT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO SEEK
THE ADVICE OF DOCTOR OR PHARMACIST.
WARNING AND PRECAUTION :
Warnings:
In patients with hepatocellular insufficiency.
Accidental ingestion of furosemide may lead to
hypovolemia with dehydration (see overdose section).
Precautions for use:
Electrolyte balance: sodium levels, potassium levels,
blood glucose, uric acid levels
SIDE EFFECTS:
-Occasionally, a slight increase in uric acid levels.
-An elevation in blood glucose levels.
-Electrolyte disturbances may occur, related to the
product’s activity: dehydration, hyperazotemia,
hyponatremia, hypovolemia with orthostatic
hypotension.
DOSAGE:
Oral route :
-Adults: depending on the indication and the severity
of the condition, the dosage ranges from 1/2 tablet
to 4 tablets of NANROSEMIDE 40mg per day, in
either continuous or discontinuous treatment.
-Hypertension: The recommended initial dosage is
20mg of furosemide per day (in the morning).
-Edema:
•Mild: 1/2 tablet of 40mg Nanrosemide per day.
•Moderate to severe: 2 to 3 tablets of 40mg
•Nanrosemide per day in 1 to 2 doses, or 3 to 4
tablets of 40mg Nanrosemide per day in 2 doses.
-Children: 1 to 2 mg/kg/day.
CONSERVATION :
– Store away from light and humidity.
– Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
– Do not use after the expiration date on the label.
